Petite Buche De Noel

This little guy was waiting for me in front of the front door at work today. He probably thought it was safe to hop out in the open because we've been under flash flood warnings for four days in a row (even though it's only rained one of those days). He also probably enjoys the 95% humidity. Unlike me.



After sushi, I had the most delicious cheesecake from La Baguette for John's birthday last night. Not too sweet, with a texture more like a crumbly wedge of Cheshire cheese than the soft give of cream cheese, and the crust was thin and not too buttery. A simple cherry glaze on top. It didn't fit in the juicing diet, but it was also John's birthday, so it doesn't count.

I can't wait to try dinner next time.
